Hi, I’m here again with another haul. This time it’s a bit smaller than the last ones. I don’t know if I prefer to split it up into smaller parts like this, or if I’d rather wait until I have a bigger pile of things to go through. Hmm…
I will probably do another post in a few weeks where I review everything in here I hadn’t tried before.
First place I went to was The Body Shop. As I mentioned in my Product Empties & Would I Repurchase? I needed a new one of the Tea Tree Targeted Gel‘s. So if you want to know more about this product, head over to this post.
They have re-packaged this and honestly, I preferred the old packaging. Not that it matters all that much, because what I know they didn’t change the formula. Still the amazing, spot-beating miracle gel as it was before.
I loooove The Body Shop‘s Tea Tree range, so when I saw this Tea Tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask I was just sold. Especially since my skin has been experiencing a lot of breakouts recently. I used this for the first time today, and so far so good. It did sting a little for a few minutes after putting it on though. That doesn’t bother me, but if you’re sensitive it might bother you more.
Since I’ve only used it once I haven’t seen any effects on my skin yet, other than that it felt silky smooth after taking the mask off. But on the website most reviewers said they started seeing a difference after a few uses. So I’ll just have to continue using it and see what I think.
Next up is this Warming Mineral Mask. I’ve never used this before, but it received great reviews online so I thought ‘why not?’. I love masks that heat up on the face, so I didn’t even hesitate when buying this. I has to have it. I’m yet to try it out, but hopefully it won’t disappoint.
When buying over 450 SEK (atleast I believe that was what the amount was…) you also got a free goodiebag, consisting of a few items from their Shea Butter Range. I have tried their body butters before, and if I’m honest they’re a bit thick for my liking. The only places I use this on is my feet and my elbows, but for those areas I really like this.
The hand cream is also nice, but it doesn’t moisturize my hands as good as my L’Occoitane hand cream which I talked about in my July Favorites.
I’ve never tried their shower creams before, but it smells amazing and I’m dying to try it once I run out of the one I’m currently using. Small bottles like this are also great to bring when travelling.
Moving on from The Body Shop products. I got a new Carmex. Yes, I know I got a new one when I was in England (as mentioned in my England Drugstore Haul), but I somehow managed to lose it when I was in Gothenburg. And since I can’t live without this I had to buy a new one. Between losing my old one and getting this one I have been trying other lip balms, but nothing compares. Trust me on this one.
Okay, I’m going to be honest with you guys: I only got this Origins Warm Down Warming Lava Scrub because KathleenLights mentioned it in one of her favorites. When she talked about it it just sounded like a product I would enjoy. I really needed a new scrub as my old one from Rituals just ran out (I really liked that one btw, it was called the Ayurveda Scrub), and as I mentioned I like when products warm up. In her video she also said this was nice to put on after working out, and it sounded so nice. I haven’t tried it yet, but if Kathleen raves about it you know it’s good.
As I mentioned in a previous post I really wanted to try some new stuff from Formula 10.0.6. I repurchased their One Smooth Operator, which I looove, and got two new face masks to try. I got their Deep Down Detox and their Pores Be Pure. Both of these received good reviews online. Hopefully I like them. Fingers crossed.
I got two concealers, one of them being the Mac Pro Longwear. I ran out of mine about a week or two ago and needed another one. This concealer is probably the most flawless, full-coverage concealer I’ve ever tried. A staple in my collection.
The second concealer I got was the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer. I know, I am really late on the bandwagon with this concealer. Like, extremely late. But I’ve just always thought it might be not full enough coverage for my liking. I haven’t tried it yet though so I don’t have an opinion on it just yet…
I’ve been looking at this Urban Decay shadow in Fireball for such a long time now, and finally I bought it. It’s so stunning, the only issue is that I don’t know what outfits this might go with. I don’t think I have anything it would match with. But as I said: it is stunning. So stunning I got it either way.
I’ve used samples of the Primer Potion in Minor Sin before, and I love it. It has a nice sheen to it which makes it perfect to use as a primer for a shimmery or glittery lid color (which heaven knows I love) to make it look more opaque and shimmery. The primer potion isn’t my favorite primer, it’s not sticky enough for my liking, but until I find another primer with shimmer in it this will suffice.
Last but not least, I got a few free samples. The Chloé Love Story perfume, the Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging eye cream, and the Clinique Smart spf 15 custom-repair moisturizer. I haven’t tried the Origins eye cream, but I have tried the moisturizer from Clinique a couple of times and so far I like it. It’s thick but not too thick, and it absorbes quickly into the skin. I also like that it has spf. I also took a wiff on the perfume sample. I can’t say that it doesn’t smell good, but it not a scent for me.
